What’s New in the 2018 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited?

January 8th, 2018 by

For the first time in a long time, both the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited receive large updates for the 2018 model year. With a new engine option, upgraded interior layout and offerings and enhanced capability, the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited are the most well-equipped models yet!

If you’re looking for the traditional Wrangler styling, the two-door Wrangler is the right choice for you. If you’re looking for a more versatile build in terms of passenger and cargo space, the four-door Wrangler Unlimited will be a better option for you. Besides their design, both the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited offer largely the same things. Both models get a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine option that produces 268-horsepower, which is slightly less horsepower than the 3.6-liter V6 engine option, but it offers more torque. The interior has been updated to offer more premium features in a new layout. There’s now an available Uconnect system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a premium all-weather sound system. And with iconic features like the washable interior and floor mounted drain plugs, it’s still as easy as ever to clean your vehicle out after a day of rugged adventuring.
